365 nights to go – Joan is keeping track.
The starboard diesel was running poorly on startup. Turns out to be air in the fuel line after replacing the fuel filters. After sputtering for 5-10 minutes it calmed down and ran smoothly.
So we departed home at 10:34, 34 minutes later than target. This was OK as my brother, Bill, on Seahorse, was a bit late departing, as well. We caught up in about 1/2 hour. Uneventful cruise @ 9.1 mph (mph since the AICWW is marked by mile posts) to just past Hoboken.
