AGLCA Spring Rendezvous: Day 3

359 nights to go – Another beautiful day, but a little hot. We are pretty much doing the same thing as yesterday — seminars.

Walking Liam.

The place is a mess again because Dan has all the stuff out to connect the Starlink!

Some very interesting seminars, but sadly the take‑home message I get is that you can capsize in a lock if you are not careful and that you need a knife handy to cut all lines in need be.

Dan, Bill, and I went to the reception and dinner, which featured introductions of people that are planning for the Loop. It was very interesting until one dude (who was sitting on) started off great but ultimately was droning on and on for 15 minutes. Since it was 7:50 and the Bruins were playing Game 2, and there were 20 more couples to go, I took off to the Blue Moon Tap House to watch the game! The Bruins looked like crap!!!

Came back to the boat and Dan worked on the Starlink (which has been a battle), but he has it working.

There were two couples who reached out to look at our boat again — they had seen it on day one and wanted another, closer look. One of the couples from MD invited us to use their slip if we go by and will drive us around and whatnot.

I’m not very social by choice, but I do appreciate that everyone in this community of Loopers really goes out of their way to help each other.
