Weather day, Mobjack Bay

356 nights to go – We anchored here overnight, and while there was some weather, including thunder and lightning, the bay was relatively calm. Dan took Liam to shore before 9 a.m. and then started doing chores.

I was reading my book! in one of the seminars at the rendezvous, they showed how to use a hose to make a big loop that easily fits over the bollard, which is common to many locks. This thing makes it way easier for short people to tie up — Dan made me one, of course.

Bill and Jill stopped by to check out the new dinghy and took Liam to shore and then for a ride. I was down in the engine room looking for parts, but Dan saw them cruise by and reported that Liam looked really happy!

We basically did chores all day, then went to shore to play soccer with Liam before heading to Seahorse for dinner (pork chops and applesauce!). Dan, Bill, and Jill were all drinking gin drinks.
