Cumberland River: Grand Rivers, KY to Tennessee River: Buchanan, KY – Paris Landing Marina

2024-10-10

We departed Green Turtle Bay after getting a pump-out. The weather was quite nice, albeit chilly. Dan called the urgent care in order to get his meds shipped to a pharmacy in Clifton City. We headed to Paris Landing with the intention of anchoring somewhere along the way. Dan decided that he wanted to instead go to the Paris Landing Marina. We tied up there with the help of some Loopers. It was only $0.85/ft with electric—$34. I immediately noticed that Bryan from Ringulator was still there at the marina! Dan took Liam for a walk. The marina was quite nice—very clean. When Bryan got back to the marina, we caught up for a long time. We have not seen him for a while, as he traveled down the Wisconsin side of Lake Michigan while we went down the Michigan side. I’m happy to report that Bryan is doing well. There were many Looper boats there, and someone proposed docktails—so we did that. Boats: Checkered Past, 80’s Lady, Tortuga, Ringulator, and two others. It was fun! P.S. Kentucky Lake was beautiful
