Dan worked, but I was slow to get going because I stayed up late and watched almost all of the Sunday night game. Eventually, I got myself together, did my chores, and then walked to town to pick up Dan’s blood pressure medications at Willoughby Pharmacy. It was a nice walk through a residential area, but there was hardly anything open in the cute little town—such a shame. The pharmacy was a cute, family-run operation. I got Dan’s pills and walked back to the boat. Dan opened the bag and there were four bottles—Aspirin, nitroglycerin (in case of emergency), febuxostat, and lisinopril-HCTZ. Dan was upset—why the febuxostat, as it’s for gout, and he was already taking lisinopril. So, he called the urgent care he had gone to, to discuss. The lisinpopril-HCTZ is a different medication than lisinopril. However, got no explanation about the febuxostat. Whatever—he will start the new meds tomorrow.
Dan finished work and we took Liam for a walk and then went over to the marina bar. We chatted with Loopers and then went to have a few drinks. We saw that RingUL8R was anchored across the river from the marina. The marina manager did not like that, and we thought it wasn’t such a great idea. She had someone on her staff contact him and tell him to come into the fuel dock. She said she wouldn’t be able to sleep if he stayed out there because of the barge traffic. Bryan did come in, and Dan helped him dock and loaned him an extension cord. We hung out at the bar chatting with fellow Loopers. I went back to the boat to take the chicken divan out of the oven. Dan and Liam arrived shortly after. We ate and then watched Monday Night Football—Bills vs. Jets. It was a great game—very close and action-packed. I stayed up for most of the game.
