We stayed put at Columbus Marina for the day so that Dan could work. The marina is sort of in the middle of nowhere unless you have a car. Fortunately, the marina has a courtesy car, so we reserved it yesterday for today from 4:00-6:00 PM. The marina also has decent bathrooms and showers, and the washer is $1.00 and the dryer is $1.00, but they are not coin-operated, so that is nice. Dan also took the courtesy car to yet another pharmacy, and on the way, he saw an armadillo—either Midway or Columbus. I took a shower, did laundry, and made a grocery list. At 4:00 PM, we took the courtesy car, and Dan dropped me off at Walmart, and he and Liam headed to Lowes to get fittings for the new holding tank. The Walmart was set up entirely differently than any other Walmart, so I was struggling right off the bat. Thirty minutes in and Dan texts to say they are waiting—we have the car for two hours! I basically rushed and ultimately forgot a few key ingredients such as cilantro. However, I secured a steak, water, and beer—so I will survive. We loaded the stuff into the car, and on the way back Dan spied an AutoZone, so he pulled in to purchase some wiper blades for the boat. We got back to the marina and hauled everything to the boat. I stayed and put everything away while Dan returned the courtesy car. On his way back, Dan chatted with some fellow Loopers to try to determine who was leaving in the morning. Many boats were planning on locking through as early as possible—so another early day is in store. Blue Tortuga will be the flotilla leader. We had steak that was actually cooked to perfection on the grill by Dan, onions and mushrooms, tortellini salad, and green beans. We watched some dancing.
