The weather conditions were so nice yesterday that Dan and Jim went right by Marco Island and headed to Indian Key. Bridget headed off to work, and Liam is sulking—missing Daddy and Bridget. Liam refuses to go for a walk, and his legs are quite wobbly. I took Maura’s car and went to Publix to get supplies for eggplant parm—can’t wait to eat some!! Dan and Jim headed to Little Shark River with a favorable weather window—however, there was no cell signal in that area so we could not follow on Nebo or have any communication—made me angsty! I tried to walk Liam again, but he still refused, and I didn’t push it because he seemed stiff and extra wobbly in the rear. The weather was chilly but sunny, so I made some eggplant parm, salad, and penne for dinner. It wasn’t my best, but it was quite tasty. While I was working in Bridget’s kitchen, I took the liberty of rearranging the drawers—I’m annoying! We ate dinner and Maura took off to FMB—no puzzle. Bridget and I watched Unsolved Mysteries—it was funny because I was an avid fan of that show and I’m sure that I have seen the majority of the episodes, but that was over 30 years ago so they seem like new episodes!
We had smooth water the whole way from Indian Key Pass to Little Shark River and arrived without incident. We anchored at N25°19.68′ W081°08.81′, Since we got in so early we had plenty of time to explore the backwaters by dinghy.
