Another sunny day in Key West. We planned to head back to Marathon but did not rush off since the sea state was expected to smooth out as the day wore on. We took Liam to shore several times but while he peed, he just would not poop! We prepared for departure and thankfully Jan and Rickey helped us with the lines as Dan had to pull out of the slip, turn the bow to the left, and back out of the marina. There was a bit of windage, so I was thankful for the help. It was a pleasant passage back to Marathon, but Dan kicked up the speed to 14 mph, probably because he was worried about Liam. We arrived at Boot Key, and I snagged mooring ball B11. Dan took Liam to shore while I got the boat organized. I then began to wash the salt spray off of the windows and slipped and tweaked my knee—it might be bad! We had lasagna for dinner—it was a little too saucy for Dan but just the way I like it.
