We woke up and it was windy and very cold. The seas were choppy, and Dan risked his life transferring Liam to the dinghy to bring him to shore. Dan worked until noon, and by then the wind had subsided substantially, and there was less chop. We pulled up the extremely muddy anchor. I was soaked from rinsing the mud off. We headed to Titusville.
We arrived at Titusville and tried to anchor before the bridge several times with no success—it was very muddy, so I had to spray the chain off. Dan decided to go to the other side of the bridge, but there was a come first serve mooring field associated with the Titusville Municipal Marina, so we grabbed a mooring ball for $21.95/night. We all went to shore, Liam peed, Dan checked in, then we walked to Cumberland Farms to get beer and carts. Dan and Liam waited at the gas station while I walked over to Save and Shop to get some decaf coffee for Dan – McDaniel’s decaf coffee. I met back up with Dan and Liam, and we walked back to the marina. It was late—like 6:00 PM—but we put Liam in his wheels, but today he was non-compliant (stubborn). We will have to try again tomorrow. We went back to the boat and made cilantro lime rice with marinated shrimp—yummy. We then watched American Idol. Before bed Dan took Liam to shore and got rid of the trash.
