Tennessee River: Rogersville, AL – Joe Wheeler State Park – Day 3

2024-10-20

We got up and took Liam for a walk and then started watching football at 8:30 AM! I continued with my clean sweep getting ready for the Looper Crawl on Monday and Tuesday. Dan continued with his cleaning too. I made chicken parm for dinner. We took Liam for a walk and in the distance, I saw a corgi-like dog and when the dog started walking, I knew for sure it was part corgi. So, I approached and asked to pet the dog. His name was Oscar and he is a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd/Corgi mix. He was very interesting to look at!

His father was Kevin Brians who was not officially at the event, but he is a looper in progress with his wife Tara. We all chatted for a while until Oscar started growling like killer corgis will do.

Kevin offered us the use of his car, which was very generous! We went back to the boat and Kevin and Tara came by later and we went to docktails and chatted. Luckily for Tara’s sake, I didn’t know that she is a forensic scientist—I probably would have chattered on and on! Dan gave Liam a bath and then we watched Sunday Night Football.
