We got up and headed to Kingfisher Bay Marina. The weather was overcast but not rainy; the sun came out later in the day. So, another beautiful weather day—we arrived at Kingfisher Bay Marina and got a pump out and gas, then docked. The marina had nice bathrooms, showers, and laundry. They also had a courtesy car, which Dan reserved for Sunday morning. Once we got organized, Dan gathered all his medical paperwork in order to go to urgent care again since his blood pressure is still running high. He called the marina office looking for help getting a ride to urgent care since there were no Ubers or taxis in the area. The courtesy car was in use, but they connected him with a local woman, Mere and her husband, who drove him into town and back to the boat. The people we have met thus far in Alabama have been so helpful, kind, and generous. The urgent care upped the dosage on Dan’s blood pressure meds, and the blood pressure is better so far. Still, no causation has been determined. After the urgent care visit, Dan walked over to Walmart to fill the prescription. When Dan got back, we took Liam for a walk. People were having docktails atop the shower/laundry building, but I did not want to go—frankly, I have been exhausted from all the worrying about Dan’s BP. I told Dan to go to docktails without me, but he didn’t. We had some leftover lasagna and salad for dinner.
