So, the damned fall-back time change was last night, so now the days are short. The weather is very nice with light humidity. Although the locals report that it is warmer than usual, Dan had the courtesy car reserved from 10–12. I cleaned up, got the laundry together, made a grocery list, and took a shower. I then took the courtesy van and drove over to Walmart. It was Sunday—the worst possible day to go shopping—so I did not get everything that we needed, but I bought enough. I got back and Dan helped me lug everything back to the boat. I got everything stowed and turned on the TV to watch football. During a break in the football action, I threw a load of laundry in. I finished up the laundry. We took Liam for a walk and noticed that docktails were happening at the end of the dock.
Dan grabbed a chair and a drink, and we joined in. So we hung out and chatted for quite a while, then went back to the boat to make shrimp Parma Rosa. It was very good. $6.00 – we (Dan) made our own Parma Rosa sauce—watching the salt now. We are just worrying about what track the potential hurricane brewing in the Gulf will take. We watched Monday Night Football—well, I did (Dan went to bed).
180 nights to go
