Departed Bahia Honda to head to Key West. Selkie helped us with the lines. It was overcast and the seas were lumpy; the sun came out eventually. Along the way, there were weird shrimp boats anchored in the mist—it was really creepy. We arrived at City Marina at Garrison Bight, but there was a boat in our slip assignment. We finally docked in the correct spot with help from some random boaters. We were docked next to “JanMarie”— Ricky, Jan, Tigger, and Bimini. They were really nice. Ricky helped Dan with a pump out since it was self-service. There were tons of houseboats at the marina as well as many liveaboards. There were showers, bathrooms, and laundry. We had dinner at Mac’s Place, and it was pretty good.
101 nights to go
