The original days plan was to head to Allan’s Cay. Captain Dan and crew decided Fox Town sounded good as we approached it. There was a sailboat heading that way too. The approach into Fox Town on Little Abaco Island was handled beautifully. Dropped anchor at N26°55.47′ W077°47.51′. We had skipped our usual sandwiches for lunch, so we quickly headed to town on the dinghy. The climb up the ladder onto the dock was an adventure. We easily found Da Valley Restaurant & Bar which was a short walk down the main road. The local crowd were friendly and inviting. Kalik, the local beer for Dan and Dave. A ginger beer & rum for Wendy. We feasted on cracked conch and salad. After our late lunch, we stopped in at the EMJ Food store to purchase salsa and a lime. Success finding salsa but no lime. Dave walked back to the restaurant to inquire if he could purchase a lime from them. The nice bartender/server just gave him one. Back aboard Loop Dawg, Dan worked for a few hours while Dave & Wendy sat up top to watch the sunset. We played cribbage until 10 PM and then hit the sack.
