Up early to shower. Dan started the engines only to find the CAT technician had not reattached the throttle cables. Mutha.
Dan and his first mate repaired, checked water level (good), and ate a quick breakfast and off we went. Sunny skies and calm seas, headed to Green Turtle Cay with a stop to see the pigs on No Name Cay. Hitting some swells passing West End Cay “crossing the Whale” had to secure some items in the galley. Arrived at Piggy Island. Dan cut up some apples, and we took some tomatoes that were on the way out and dinghied over. Lots of pigs—Dan warned us that they had sharp teeth. A bossy mama pig was aggressive in trying to get the food and nipped the smaller pigs away. The “drift” of pigs were mostly in the shade having a meal, but one tiny piggy stayed out on the beach. It was so tiny Dan had to break up the apple slices. We took a bunch of pics. There was a slight issue pulling the anchor chain, but Dan got out his hammer and that was that. We anchored at Green Turtle Cay at N26°45.78′ W077°19.92′ and are completing some tasks prior to going to Pineapples for happy hour. Pineapples was great! We had rum punches & Sands Light. Steve decided we needed a third round of 2-for-1 happy hour drinks. We met Yvonne, who Wendy apparently insisted on calling Wilhelmena on their previous visit. She and Dan had a good laugh about that. Back on the boat, we had delicious Bubba Burgers and an emergency potato salad that Dan whipped up prior to happy hour (forgot to mention that). After dinner and clean up, the men played cribbage and poor Steve had victory in his sights, only to have merciless Dan snatch it from him. Dan remains undefeated. Mindy went down to read at 8:30; the men retired at 10:00.
